Giving Back

​In 2024, the Lord gave me a vision, and in the vision, he showed me a new church. It is not what we would define as “going to church,” but by being the church, the Acts 2 church. It was a 2-story building that appeared to be a coffee shop, with a ministry center on the top floor. This was a place where ordinary people came together to enjoy their coffee along with fellowshipping with others. The upstairs was an area for prayer and ministry. It was holy ground where the Spirit of the Lord was present, and the move of God was welcomed.

I sat and meditated, prayed over it, and asked him many times, “What would you have me do with this?, is this something I am to build or is it something you would have me reveal to someone else?” I got radio silence, but I continued to pray and ask. Months went by, and I still didn’t have an answer, but he spoke to me again as I was praying about this candle business and the original blueprint he'd given me, and He said, “Let’s build this church!” I immediately got to work. Part of my prayer was how this vision would be built and funded, and that is when he told me that the money from the candles would go toward the funding. 

 

As of today, I still don’t know when or where or what I am doing with the 10% of the sales of every candle, but I do know that when he speaks again, I want to be ready. I don’t want to be like the 5 virgins who were caught without oil for their lamps in Matthew 25:1-13. All I can tell you for certain is that SaltLight Candles takes 10% of each candle sold and puts it aside to help build the Kingdom of God here on earth.
